Named after Walter De La Mare’s poem, The Burning Glass are a four-piece acoustic band who play odd – often funny, often melancholy – songs in a variety of conflicting genres. The band love vocal harmonies and catchy riffs, as well as lashings of tongue twister lyrics and word play.

The band’s line up is: Robin Allison playing Double Bass and Harmonium, Kirsty Witchel on Clarinet and Bass Clarinet, Richard Bushby playing guitar and Edwin Brooks on Ukulele.
